Greetings Delegates,
My name is Colin Nam P. , and it is my honor to serve as your CSTD President for SEOMUN XXVIII. As a senior currently attending Seoul International School (SIS), I have been a passionate member of my school’s MUN club for the past four consecutive years. Joining me are my Assistant President, Leah K. , and Deputy Assistant President, Sara L.
Out of all my past experiences with other committees, no other committee has been more relevant than the Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD). In an era defined by innovation and rapid technological change, the CSTD is uniquely positioned to address the challenges and opportunities that shape our global future.
This year’s theme, “Voices of Tomorrow,” reflects our belief in the power of youth-led dialogue to shape real solutions. As members of the generation that will inherit the consequences of today’s technological advancements, it is vital that we take part in building frameworks that ensure sustainable development for all.
As the dais, we are committed to fostering an environment that is intellectually engaging and most importantly, challenging. No matter your level of experience, we believe that every delegate has something meaningful to contribute.
I look forward to seeing you all in October.
Sincerely,
Colin Nam P.
President of the United Nations Commission on Science and Technology for Development
